Mirell Broome
Research Analyst Intern

Mirell works at the intersection of science and software. A chemistry and computer science undergraduate, she brings a laboratory researcher's discipline to technology research — assessing existing studies to identify where new data sources and methods would strengthen findings, and turning primary sources, industry reports and expert interviews into material that delivery teams and clients can act on. Her interest is in applying science and technology to problems facing Barbados and the wider Caribbean.

Education
BSc Chemistry and Computer Science, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus (in progress). Her foundation in chemistry led to an interest in research and laboratory work, which now underpins her analytical work in technology.
