Kate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in TV/Radio from Brooklyn College in New York, USA. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Management with a concentration in Climate Change at the University of the West Indies.

Professional Background
Kate began her career as a reporter at Mmegi Newspaper in Botswana, where she developed a strong foundation in news gathering and storytelling. She went on to become one of the pioneering news anchors at Gabz FM Radio, one of Botswana's first privately-owned radio stations. In addition to her journalism career, Kate has several years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students from around the world, further enhancing her ability to communicate across diverse cultures.

Kate was instrumental in shaping the media presence of Gabz FM Radio during its early years, helping the station establish itself as a trusted news source in Botswana. She has also successfully developed and implemented communication strategies for various organizations, ensuring clear and effective messaging across multiple platforms.
Personal Interests
Beyond her professional work, Kate is an active volunteer pastor at Shepherd House International. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching HGTV, drawing inspiration from home improvement and design shows.
