Celebrating Our 2025 BCC Interns

At Pellucid IT Inc., we’re passionate about shaping the future of technology in Barbados and across the Caribbean—one student at a time.

Since January 2014, we have proudly partnered with the Division of Computer Studies at Barbados Community College (BCC), participating in their annual work attachment program. Through this collaboration, we welcome students from BCC to gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic world of IT.

This year, from January 20th to April 17th, we had the pleasure of hosting two promising interns: Seth Parris, who joined our Software Engineering team, and Neil King, who interned with our Systems Administration team.

Seth brought a creative spark and strong coding background to the team. His passion for programming was evident in his work. He made valuable contributions to the CPAG MPA Dashboard project, developing chart features for use by regional partners, among other things. Due to Seth’s commitment and hard work, we retained him after his work attachment to continue supporting the ongoing development and refinement of the CPAG MPA Dashboard.

Neil impressed us with his professionalism and quiet determination. His prior experience in network administration and hardware troubleshooting gave him a solid foundation, and during his time with us, he further honed his skills in systems configuration, network performance optimization, and virtualization. Neil also made notable contributions to the development of the CPAG MPA Dashboard by enabling Google Authentication and conducting a deep dive into roles and permissions management.
